Step 3: Take the Test

The exam is 25 multiple-choice questions. You need to get 19 right (that’s 76% for the math nerds).

Unlimited retries: If you bomb it the first time, no sweat—try again.

Step 4: Save Your Certificate

Once you pass, you’ll get an electronic certificate. Print it out or save it on your phone—it’s your golden ticket to legally operate a boat in Florida for the next 90 days.

Step 5: Show It Off

When you arrive for your rental, flash your certificate to us (along with your photo ID). We’ll check it out, nod approvingly, and send you on your way to aquatic glory.
